Mary J. Nybeck, 81, a long-time resident of Morris Run, PA, passed away peacefully, Sunday, February 9, 2020 at her home with her loving family by her side. Mary Jane was born in Towanda on June 3, 1938 a daughter of the late John Grim and Verna (Bastian) Conrad. On February 22, 1964 she married the love of her life, Fred A. Nybeck, Sr. Together they shared 39 years together and raised eight children until his passing in 2003.

Mary was a kind, caring individual who was always good to everyone. She was the type that welcomed anyone into her heart and home. Everyone she knew, or met, called her "Gram." She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing and baking. Many memories were made playing games with her family. She especially liked dice, Yahtzee and cards, with her favorite card game being Kings in the Corner. Mary's most treasured times were shared with her family and she was one who never forgot a birthday.

Surviving Mary are her children; Martha (Tim) Wilcox, Kathy Young all of Morris Run, Willard "Tom" (Trish) Overpeck of Wellsboro, Linda (Lee) Nybeck of Troy, Peggy (Loren) Holley of Blossburg, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her parents and husband, Mary was predeceased by sons; Robert Overpeck, Fred Nybeck Jr. and a daughter; Rose Leonard.

Friends and family are invited to call Thursday, February 13th from 4-6 P.M. at Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility, 314 Granger St., Blossburg, with funeral services following at 6 P.M. Burial will be private in the Arbon Cemetery, Blossburg.
