"Bob" Shore, Jr.
September 1, 1953 – August 14, 2022
Robert "Bob" Shore Jr, 68, of Roaring Branch, McNett Township, PA (formerly from Montgomery County), passed away, Sunday, August 14, 2022, at Sayre's Robert Packard Hospital. Robert W. was born at Bryn Mawr Hospital on September 1, 1953, to the late Robert W. Sr. and Dorothy (Hitner) Shore.
Robert went to school for carpentry. In earlier years, Bob was employed as a roofer and carpenter. He was a talented handyman and enjoyed working with his hands. Robert met the love of his life Marlena Rhoads and together they have shared over 40 devoted years. On Feb. 28, 1992, Bob and Marlena married and moved to the Roaring Branch area to make their home. Bob also was employed at the former Canton Manufacturing until his health no longer permitted him to continue. He was a social member of the Marine Corp League of Ralston.
Robert lived a quiet life and enjoyed being in the woods. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing. He was a wonderful example of how to be a husband, dad and grandfather.
He is survived by; wife, Marlena (Rhoads) Shore, children; Michael Rhoads, Joe Shore and Robert W. (Britney) Shore III, several grandchildren, twin sisters, Karen and Kathy as well as a nephew, John, many neighbors and friends.
Robert was predeceased by his parents.
In maintaining to Robert's wishes, all services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. The Pepper Funeral Home, Canton is in caring assistance for the family
