Robert "Bob" C. Petrowski, 59, well known resident of Canton, passed away Friday, January 24, 2025, after a courageous 15-year battle with cancer. He passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. If you knew Bob he fought right up until the end, cracking jokes with his smirks. Bob was born February 10, 1965, in Honesdale, PA, a son of Dixie (Woodruff) Goodwin and the late Walter Petrowski Sr. On April 26, 2013, Bob married the love of his life, the former Kim Tarbox. Together they shared 11 years of loving marriage. Bob was employed by Canton Township for several years, until his health no longer permitted him to work.

At a young age Bob started trucking and was the owner and operator of his own truck. He traveled part of the United States and always had a story to tell. He loved going to the beach, camping at Sunfish Pond and giving his wife a run for her money. Spending time with his family and friends was always his most cherished moments.

Bob leaves behind his loving wife; Kim Petrowski at home, children; Robert Petrowski (Jessica), Jay Gowin (Cierra) all of Canton, Travis Gowin (Rachel) of Ogdensburg, Chris Petrowski (Nicole), Nate Gowin, Jessie Gowin (Michele) Nick Petrowski (Ashley) all of Canton and Bub Gowin (Tiffany) of Mansfield, 25 grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bob was predeceased by his father; Walter Petrowski, brother; Walt Petrowski, and a granddaughter; Leighton Gowin.

A time of visitation will be held from Noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Pepper Funeral Home, 578 Springbrook Drive, Canton, PA 17724. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
