Robert "Bob"
Williams
d. Aug 22, 2026
Troy
Robert “Bob” Williams Sr., 93, of Troy, PA, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and lifelong farmer, went home to his Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, surrounded by his loving family. Born on April 19, 1933, Bob was the son of the late Eli and Margaret (Becker) Williams.
Bob graduated from Troy High School in 1951 and soon began working alongside his father on the family dairy farm in Pleasant Valley, Troy Township. Farming became not only his livelihood but his calling. He later took over the farm’s daily operations, tending the land with dedication and pride until his retirement.
On July 30, 1959, Bob married the love of his life, Connie Bellows. Together they raised six children and shared 67 years of unwavering partnership and devotion. Bob cherished time with his family and delighted in watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s sporting events, whether in person or through livestreams. He followed sports at every level and always enjoyed a good conversation about the latest game.
Bob found joy in the simple pleasures of farm life—hunting, riding his ATV, feeding the fish at the family pond, and playing cards. He took great pride in “his” garden, generously sharing vegetables with family, friends, and his church community. In later years, Bob and Connie enjoyed spending winters in Florida, where they made many fond memories together.
A man of deep faith, Bob was an active member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of Alba, where he served as a deacon and on several committees. His church and church family were dear to his heart, and he lived his faith through service, kindness, and quiet strength.
Bob leaves behind his beloved wife, Connie; his children Vickie (John Kuterbach) Williams, Kathy (Brian) Fleming, Lisa (Don) Skinner, Tim (Michele) Williams, David (Cathy) Williams, and Bob Jr. (Micki) Williams; 19 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. He is also survived by his sister, Bertha (Harley) Fry; brothers-in-law Richard Tice, Larry (Gale) Bellows, and Paul Tillotson Sr.; sister-in-law Doris Ann Bentley; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents and stepmother, Julia (Strait) Williams, Bob was predeceased by his in-laws Bill and Dorothy Bellows; siblings Janet (Ed) Preston and Joanne Tice; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Roger (Eunie) Bellows, Robert “Bob” Bentley, and Darlene Tillotson.
Honoring Bob’s wishes, a private family service will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Robert D. Williams’ name may be directed to the First Christian Church of Alba’s Memorial Fund, c/o 74 Church Drive, Alba, PA 16910.
Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility, 578 Springbrook Drive in Canton, is assisting the family with arrangements. Memories of Bob and condolences may be shared at www.pepperfuneralhomes.com.
