Ronald J. Phillips, Sr., 58, of Shunk, PA and formerly of New Providence, PA passed away at home on Monday, November 11, 2013.

Ronald was born in Lancaster on December 3, 1954, a son of the late Janet (Phillips) Grant and John P. Ciccone. On July 17, 1976, he married the former Linda Morrison in Lancaster. They shared nearly 36 wonderful years together and raised three children. His beloved Linda passed away on June 29, 2012.

Ron was a devoted and supportive husband, father and grandfather. His interests included muscle cars and Harley Davidson motorcycles. In younger years, he also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Victory Church in Troy.

Surviving are his children, Ronald Jr. (Jess) Phillips of Lancaster, Kerri L. (Chris) Martin of Franklindale and Trista L. (Ken) Higley of Overton; 11 grandchildren; two siblings, Jennifer Grant and David Grant both of Lancaster.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 am Saturday, Nov. 23, at Victory Church, East Main St. in Troy with pastor Josh Payne officiating. In lieu of flowers, consider a memorial to the Amer. Diabetes Assoc. P.O. Box 4383 Bethlehem, PA 18018 or the American Cancer Soc. 1948 E. Third St. Williamsport, PA 17701. Pepper Funeral Home in Canton is assisting the family with arrangements.
