Ronald H. Simpson, 54, of Tunkhannock, formerly of Troy, passed away on Friday May 9, 2025, at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre. Born on August 2, 1970, in Towanda, he was the beloved son of Robert and Maxine (Bristol) Simpson. A graduate of Troy Area Schools, Ron earned his diploma with the class of 1988. Throughout his career, he dedicated many years to P&G in Mehoopany before joining Cargill in Wyalusing.
Ron was a passionate sports enthusiast, deeply devoted to Phillies baseball and New York Giants football. His love for history was evident in his curiosity and knowledge, making him an engaging storyteller. With a charismatic personality and an infectious sense of humor, Ron easily formed friendships wherever he went. Above all else, his family meant the world to him, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
Ron is survived by his beloved daughters, Kristie and Stacie Simpson, and his cherished grandson, Hayden Dunn. He also leaves behind his loving parents, Robert and Maxine Simpson, his brother, Richard Simpson, and his niece, Carlie Simpson, along with several dear cousins.
Ron was predeceased by his grandparents; Richard (Gladys) Bristol and Ronald (Gwen) Simpson.
A celebration of Ron's life will be announced at the convenience of his family. Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility, 578 Springbrook Drive in Canton, is assisting the family with arrangements.
