Scott D. May, 53, of Troy, passed away at his residence on Friday, December 27, 2024, with his wife by his side. Scott Douglas was born September 30, 1971, in Towanda, a son of Melva (Reider) May and the late Kenneth May. He attended Canton Area High School. On May 3, 2014, Scott married the former Jennifer Heath. Together they shared 10 years of marriage. Most recently Scott drove truck until his declining health no longer permitted him to work.
Scott was a very active member of the Canton and Troy Fire Departments. He liked the NHRA and going to Selinsgrove to watch the races. Scott drove bus for many musicians and entertainers, something he was always excited to do. Most important to him was his father, Kenneth, whom he is now reunited with.

Scott leaves behind his wife; Jennifer, sons; Hunter May, Dillon May and Tyler (Ashley) May, stepchildren; Macey Hamm, DJ Baldwin, Brittany Baldwin, Austin Baldwin and Alicia Baldwin, mother; Melva May, a brother; David May and grandchildren; Chloe and Mayson Hamm as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and many more grandchildren.

Scott was predeceased by his father; Kenneth May and a brother; Wayne May.

A celebration of Scotts life will be announced. Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility, 578 Springbrook Drive in Canton is assisting the family with arrangements.
