Shawn D. Becker, 57, of Alba, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024, at his residence while surrounded by his family. Shawn was born July 25, 1966, in Middletown, New York, a son of the late Sheryl Kuhn. He attended North Penn High School and was a graduate of the class of 1985. After high school he went on to Williamsport Area Community College where he earned his degree in welding. On October 7, 2023, Shawn married the former Kathleen Wright in Granville Township. He was employed in the manufacturing industry until his health permitted him to no longer work.

Shawn enjoyed target shooting. He took pride in his vehicles and loved working on them and solving any issues himself.  Shawn was a very strong-willed and committed individual who faced anything head on and never gave up. He was an incredibly hard worker and all-around great guy. Shawn loved the pets he had throughout life, especially his chocolate lab Max. Most important to Shawn was spending time with his friends and family.

Shawn leaves behind his wife; Kathy at home, son; Jacob Becker of Blossburg, brother; Brian (Kim) Kuhn of Cary, NC, Angelique (Sean) Sember of Troy, nieces and nephews; Tristen, Nick, Joe, Taylor and Dylan (Ben) Davis, great niece; Charlee, step children; Craig (Julie-Anne) Hall and Allison (Cameron) MacKinnon, step grandchildren; Brody and Owen Campbell and Jaxson and Clark Hall and special friends Steve and Carol Bastion and Connie Kern.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 1, 2024, from 11:30 to 1 P.M. at Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility, 578 Springbrook Drive in Canton. A funeral service will follow at 1 with burial in Glenwood Cemetery in Troy. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Shawn's name may be directed to the Guthrie Cancer Center, 1 Guthrie Square, Sayre, PA 18840.
