Sheila K. Martin, 78, of Troy, PA passed away, Saturday March 15, 2025, at Bradford Hills in West Burlington Township, PA.  Sheila Kay Murray was born September 5, 1946, in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Courtney and Marguerite "Peg" (Jennings) Murray.

Sheila graduated from Troy High School. On February 20, 1965, she married John H. Martin. Together they raised two children and shared 17 years of beloved marriage before Mr. Martin's passing on January 14, 1982.

In earlier years, Shelia worked for Paper Magic in Troy and later for Dr Grue Optometry in Canton.  Most recently she was employed by Troy's Tops Market in the customer service department for many years until her retirement.

Mrs. Martin was of the Methodist faith. She was a talented baker and especially enjoyed making cookies for her grandchildren. Sheila loved being busy and working with people. Spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, where always special times.

Sheila leaves behind a daughter, Tammi Fitzwater of Columbia Cross Rds, a daughter in law, Amber Martin, grandchildren, T.J., Kevin, Dylan, Steven, Brandon (and his fiancé, Nikira, who loving took care of Sheila for six months assisting her during visits and getting out for special occasions), LaTasha, Tori, Norah, Sarah, great grandchildren, Micah, Chelsea, Jarrett, Kate, Tyler, Sylvia, a brother, Courtney Murray of Florida, three nieces and several cousins.

Besides her parents and husband, Sheila was predeceased by her beloved son, Michael Martin in 2015 and two special feline companions, Whiskers and Furby.

A service to celebrate Sheila's life and burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation in Mrs. Martin's memory to a charity of one's choice.
