Sherra L. "Sherry" (Chamberlain) Morgan, 81, of Canton, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. Sherra was born June 2, 1943, in Troy, a daughter of the late J. Arthur and Ethel (Allen) Chamberlain. She attended Troy Area Schools and was a graduate of the class of 1961. On January 28, 1961, Sherra married her high school sweetheart, Herbert Morgan in the Burlington Methodist Church. Together they shared 54 years of marriage until Herb's death and raised three children. Sherry, as known by most, was employed as a case worker for the Bradford County Child Care for several years until her retirement.
Sherry loved to read and spending time with her family and watching them grow. She loved the time she spent with all her family at the yearly Morgan reunion held at Ives Run Campground.
Sherry leaves behind her children; Ronald (Sandy) Morgan of Carlisle, Terri (Doug) Kapp of Dauphin and Tammy (Ron) Watkins of Columbia Cross Roads, grandchildren; Matthew Watkins, Natasha (Chad) Force, Jeremy (Ally) Kapp, Justin (Tori) Kapp, Marcus Watkins, Ryan (Emma) Morgan, Amanda (Kody) Bream, Kaelyn (Rebecca) Brudnok, Ryan (Lindsay) Brudnok and Taylor (Mike) Ewan, 20 great grandchildren, sister; Sandy Chamberlain of Towanda and brother Jim Chamberlain of W. Burlington, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides her parents and husband Herbert, Sherry was predeceased by her in-laws; Dean and Wilma Morgan and a sister-in-law; Bea Chamberlain.
In keeping with Sherry's request services will be private and held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 1 to 2 P.M. at Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility, 578 Springbrook Drive in Canton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Sherry's name may be directed to the American Kidney Fund, 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852.
