Simeon was a talented carpenter and auto mechanic. He enjoyed the outdoors especially spending time landscaping, working in his flower and vegetable gardens and was known for his homemade pickles. Sim also was a good cook and would often offer homemade meals for family and friends. He will be remembered by many as a jokester, who frequently liked to make people laugh.

Simeon leaves behind his children; Sue (Marvin) Roberts of Mansfield, Julie (Bryan) Ellis of Morris Run and Lee (Patty) Jackson of Trout Run, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, a sister, Ann Swartwood of Spencer, NY., a special cousin and caregiver, Vivian Harvey as well as several nieces, nephews and cousin.

Besides his parents and wife, Simeon was predeceased by his siblings; Janet Bullivant, June Voorhees, Bob Fleet and Steve Fleet.

In keeping with Simeon's wishes there will be no services. Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility, 578 Springbrook Drive in Canton is assisting the Jackson family with arrangements. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
