Sylvia A. (Murch) DeWolf Lash, 81, long-time resident of Wyalusing, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at the Sayre Health Care Center. Sylvia Ann was born June 4, 1942, a daughter of the late Clarence and Lydia (Vanderpool) Murch. She was a member of the Arch of the Covenant Church in Monroeton.

Sylvia enjoyed reading and doing puzzles. Going for rides and seeing where the roads would lead was always an enjoyable time. Sylvia always looked forward to taking part in the activities at the Sayre Health Care Center. She won various items, and she treasured every one of them.

Surviving Sylvia are her grandchildren; Michael Kimball, Wendy Kimball, Shane Kimball, Kyle DeWolf, Heather DeWolf, Audrey DeWolf, Aaron DeWolf, Dennis DeWolf, Stephanie Sheridan, Shane Maines and their families, a great-grandson; Patrick Greene, daughter-in-law; Pamela DeWolf as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her parents and her husband Ronald DeWolf, Sylvia was predeceased by sons; Giles "Dave" DeWolf, Allen DeWolf and a daughter; Ronda Kimball.
