Sylvia June Stout Heasley of Wetona, passed away on March 13th, 2025, at the magnificent age of 90. She was born on May 5th, 1934, to the late Elmer Jacob Lewis Stout and Dorothy Turner Stout in Blossburg, PA. She married Charles E. Heasley on February 10th, 1953, and was blessed with nearly 50 years of marriage before his passing in July of 2001. She is predeceased by her son, Clinton Louis Heasley, as well as by brothers, Russell and Douglas Stout, and sisters, Hazel Stout Foster, Joyce Stout Decker, Barbara Stout Kinner, and Carol Stout Austin. She is also predeceased by her grandchildren Cliffie and Sarah Heasley, Danielle Heasley, Adam Heasley, Stacey Stone, and daughter-in-law Theresa Barrett Heasley, along with a pre-adopted son (adopted into the Heasley family), Brian Barrett. PA, She was a member of the Victory Church in Troy, Pennsylvania and was baptized on July 13, 2014.

She is survived by her children: Cynthia Slater (Joe Benjamin), Charles (Sharon) Heasley, Clayton (Barbara) Heasley, Carolyn (Mark) Welcome, Crystal (Thomas) Walker, Cathlyn (Wallace) Recore, Carlton Heasley, the late Clinton (Bettie) Heasley, Cameron (Sherry) Heasley, Clifton Heasley (Ashley Roupp), Cherryl (Kenneth) Stone, and last but not least, Curtiss (Lisa Heasley). She had approximately 87 grandchildren, as well as numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, with more to come as well as her youngest sister Dorothy Stout Corwin.

She was the most amazing, soft-spoken woman who could give you a look that guaranteed action behind it! She had a heart that made each and every one of us feel special to her. She had a "movie-style glamour" with beautiful bling jewelry, red lipstick, and red polish (red being her favorite color). Her wardrobe was as perfect as she was. Her hair was always kept (always cut and permed), and her purse was always by her side, just as neat and tidy as her grooming. When you leaned in to hug her, you felt like you could just stay there forever.
Summers were spent on her front porch, listening to country music and Elvis. She especially enjoyed when family gathered to play for her. (She may even have been spotted table dancing from time to time.) How sweet it was to listen to her beautiful, melodic voice as she sang along. Among her many talents, her interests expanded and she learned how to play an electric keyboard and the steel guitar. Another hobby was crocheting, and as the families grew, so did her passion in making baby sweaters and baby blankets. Winter was her favorite time to stay inside and prepare for her favorite holiday, Christmas. Her decorations were over-the-top beautiful and very pleasing to the eye, like walking into a winter wonderland—a beautiful display of her collection of Santas. She enjoyed shopping through her collection of magazines, always thinking of others. It was like Christmas year-round.
All these things she liked, but that's not what she loved… She LOVED her family—12 children and her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, always daring anyone to name them all. She was the most amazing cook and always made it with love and calories ❤️. If we had to choose one word to describe this vivacious, glamorous, meticulous, God-given blessing to all her family and friends, it would be LOVE, or maybe Lovely! Mom, Momma, Gram—we're already missing you, but only for a little while. We are not allowing ourselves to say the words "Goodbye"; we are only allowing the words "See You Later" We love you so very much ♥️.
