Terri L. "Pork" Avery, 38, of Columbia Cross Roads, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at UPMC in Williamsport, while surrounded by her loving family. Terri Lynne was born September 2, 1986, in Towanda, a daughter to Eugene Avery and Penny (Mosher) Morgan. Pork, as known by most, attended Canton Area Schools and was previously employed as a hairdresser and cooked at the Wheel Inn.
Terri enjoyed music and was a talented singer, singing at many different venues throughout the area. She loved to travel and going camping, especially at Knoebels. Pork had a very friendly personality and made friends everywhere she went. An animal lover, she cherished her canine companions, Duke and Eliza, and loved cats.
Terri leaves behind her parents; Eugene Avery and Penny (Dave) Morgan, spouse; Ronald Swimley, grandmother; Barbara Avery, siblings; Kelli Wesneski, Tyler Avery, Taylor Avery, Jan Rumsey, Makhi Morgan, Annabeth Morgan, Hope Morgan, Nicholas Morgan and Layne Morgan, nieces and nephews; Owen Wesneski, Morgan Wesneski, Logan Wesneski, Xavierra Preston, Emersyn Preston, Andy Avery, Olivia Avery and Leo Avery, great nieces; Everly and Allie Wesneski, and a special friend; Theresa Brown and many others.
Terri was predeceased by her grandparents; Alvah Avery, Ruth Probst and Durland Mosher Sr., special friends; Brett Cohick, Matt Cohick and Davin "Bug" Ward and her feline friend; Princess.
A celebration of Terri's life will be held at 1 P.M. on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Canton Moose, 41 Sullivan Street, Canton, PA 17724. Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility, 578 Springbrook Drive in Canton is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Terri's name may be directed to an animal shelter of your choice.
