IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Virginia "Ginny"
L. Wells
February 7, 1952 – July 6, 2024
Virginia L. (Binford) Wells, 72, of Wyalusing, beloved wife of Lyle Wells, passed away at her residence on Saturday, July 6, 2024. Virginia Lee was born February 7, 1952, a daughter of the late Theron and Ida (Tuning) Binford. Ginny, as known by most, attended Troy area school and was a graduate of the class of 1970.
Ginny loved flowers and camping at Lake Ontario. Her greatest joy was time spent with family and friends. Her children and grandchildren were the delight of her life, and she loved her family fiercely. Ginny truly cherished any opportunity she was able to spend with her grandchildren. When times were tough, she was the one they would call. If there was announcement to be made, she was the first to be excited for them. Ginny was the family confidant, comforter and protector. She gave of herself even when she had nothing left to give. Her sacrificial love for those around her will be forever cherished.
Ginny leaves behind her husband; Lyle Wells of Wyalusing, son; Nathan (Missy) Ross of Sayre, daughter; Nicole (Ryan) Schrader of Canton, step-son; Adam (Elizabeth) Wells of Wyalusing; step-daughter Cheri (Matt) Fagan of Bloomsburg, grandchildren; Alex (Corbyn) Schrader of Canton, Zachary (Emily) Schrader of Alamogordo, New Mexico, Brandon Schrader of Sayre, Cameron, Peyton, Elijah and Collins Ross all of Sayre, Brooke Fagan and Samantha Fagan both of Bloomsburg, Isaiah Harvey, Brenden, Paisley and Adam Wells all of Wyalusing, Lila (Tyler) Ellis of East Smithfield, great-grandchildren; Ryan, Jackson and Grant Schrader, Alexandria Schrader, Oakley and Laykyn Ellis and one more sweet boy due any day.
Besides her parents, Ginny was predeceased by a sister; Alexis Monroe, brothers; Theron Binford and Charlie (Helen) Binford and a great-grandson; Liam Robert Schrader.
In keeping with the family's wishes there will be no services. Burial in Lime Hill Cemetery will be private and at the convenience of the family. Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility, 578 Springbrook Drive in canton is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ginny's name may be directed to St. Jude, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN, 38105.
