IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William Alan
Gregory
December 24, 1963 – June 22, 2025
William Alan Gregory, 61, of Mansfield, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 22, 2025, as the result of a tragic motorcycle accident.
Born on December 24, 1963, in Lewisburg, Kentucky, William was the beloved son of Paul and Bobbie (Loftis) Gregory. He was raised in Mackey, Indiana, and graduated from Harrison High School. Alan briefly attended Vincennes University before proudly enlisting in the United States Army.
A man known for his dedication and strong work ethic, Alan served as Production Manager at Oak Hill Veneer in Troy for 17 years. His expertise took him around the globe as a consultant, and his commitment to his craft was admired by many.
Alan, as known by most, was a true outdoorsman who found joy in fishing, traveling, and caring for his yard. He had a deep love for classic cars and a lifelong passion for riding motorcycles. A devoted fan of the Indianapolis Colts and NHRA Racing, he also cherished time spent with his family, especially his children, his brothers and grandchildren, whose company brought him his greatest happiness.
Alan is survived by his children, Marlena Gregory and Elizabeth Gregory (Alan Coast), both of Slippery Rock, PA, and Jacob (Kristian) Gregory of Gillett; his grandchildren, Lukas Mihordin, Marley Coast, and Aizlynn Gregory; siblings, David Gregory and Roger Gregory, both of Chesapeake, WV, and Robert (Billie) Gregory of Fort Branch, IN; his best friend, Rebecca Pasco of Mercer, PA; his loyal dog, Dexter, and his cat, Lily; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his son, Jesse Gregory; his sister, Margaret Daugherty; and a sister-in-law, Elaine Gregory.
A private family service will be held at a later date to celebrate Alan's life. Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility, 578 Springbrook Drive in Canton, is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in William's name may be made to a charity of one's choice. Memories and condolences may be shared by visiting www.pepperfuneralhomes.com.
