William "Frank" Winebarger, 63, of Ewing, VA (formerly of the Canton area) passed away unexpectedly on August 17, 2016 at the Lonesome Pine Hospital in Big Stone Gap, VA.
William Franklin Winebarger, "Frank" to family and friends, was born on September 21, 1952 in Boone, NC, one of ten children of the late Arlie H. Winebarger and Hazel G. (Ray) Winebarger Morgan.
Most recently Frank worked as a self-employed logger.In earlier years he owned and operated Canton's United Auto Service garage.Frank was knowledgeable in woodworking and several construction trades; building his own home in VA.He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt, fish and camp.He was well known for the Christmas wreaths he made from wild princess pine for his many family and friends.Frank also especially enjoyed times spent riding motorcycles and traveling.
Surviving is his wife, Vida Finch, eight stepchildren; Patches Fisher of Wyalusing, Aimee (Stanley) Coe of California, Joseph (Isa) Lane, Steven (Shannon) Lane, Anthony (Tosha) Lane all of Athens, Tango Winebarger Marbaker (Grant Cole) of Canton, Travis Ott of Reading and Tesa (Jody) Route of Canton, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren, four sisters and two brothers; Pauline (Jim) Horton, Dorthie (Wade) Graham and Jerry Winebarger all of Canton, Shelby (Larry) Wilcox of Montgomery, Emily Edith (Jim) Sweely of Millerton and David Winebarger of Granville, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by three siblings; Shirley Castle, Lena Swain and Jimmy Winebarger.

Frank's family invites friends to call 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 23rd, at Pepper Funeral Home, 578 Springbrook Dr. in Canton.Minister John Wile will officiate the funeral services at 2 p.m.Burial will follow in Beech Flats Cemetery in Canton Twp., PA.
