Ronald A. Guy, Sr., 74, of Roaring Branch, Pennsylvania, went home to his Lord and Savior, early Monday morning, October 4, 2021 at UPMC in Williamsport, PA. Ronald Allen was born October 28, 1946 in Rochester, NY; the youngest of two sons to the late Winton F. and Gladys (Kemp) Guy, Sr.. He graduated from Edison Tech in Rochester and later earned his degree to become a certified Electrician. Ron was a very intelligent individual whom was exceptional at math as well as writing computer programs. He was also an extremely hard worker. The word lazy was not in Ron’s vocabulary or his demeanor. In earlier years, he was employed by Westinghouse in Attica, NY, where he met the former Sharleen Swarthout. The two fell in love and were united in Holly Matrimony on August 17, 1985 in Warsaw, NY. Ron then accepted employment at Corning-Tropel in Fairport, NY for several years. Eventually he and Sharleen moved in 2004 to make their home in the quaint town of Roaring Branch (Tioga County, PA). Always one to stay busy, he continued working and was employed by Ward Foundry in Blossburg, PA. He served the Foundry for 11 years as a Journeyman Electrician, until his retirement in 2018. Ronald was a man of faith and volunteered countless hours serving the Lord through the Assemblies of God Ministries. Ron also helped at Mt. Zion Christian Retreat Center in Roaring Branch, assisting with anything that needed done. Mr. Guy served as a missionary overseas that was sponsored by Elim Bible Institute in Lima, NY. He was a proud partner and supporter of the Bill & Franklin Graham and Jim Baker Ministries.
Surviving is: Ron's beloved wife of 36 years; Sharleen of Roaring Branch, three sons and a daughter-in-law; Ron (Jennifer) Guy of Greece, NY, Frank Guy of Pike, NY, and Joshua Guy of Rochester, NY, two step-children and their spouse; Barbara (Eric) Kaderli of Orchard Park, NY, James Rickard of Fort Lauderdale, FL, four grandchildren; Savanna Marie, Ashton, Sydney and Sawyer, a brother and sister-in-law; Winton (Dorothy) Guy, Jr. of Churchville, NY, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

On Sunday October 10, 2021, Ronald's family invites friends to attend a 1:30 p.m. celebration of life at the Lighthouse of Faith, 141 East Main St. (across from the Acorn Market) Canton, PA, 17724, with his Pastor, Sean Tymeson serving as celebrant.
