Joann Boyce, 86, of Canton, PA, was called home to her Lord and Savior

on Monday evening, January 16, 2012, from the Bradford County Manor

in West Burlington Township.

Born on September 18, 1925 in Berrytown, PA, Springfield Township,

Joann was a daughter of the late Burton and Ruby (Barrett) McClelland.

She graduated as class Valedictorian from Troy High School.

Joann was the devoted wife of A. Aaron Boyce for 65 years. In earlier years, they owned and operated a dairy farm near Columbia Cross Roads, PA., where Aaron later was Postmaster.Aaron and Joann were then caretakers of the Delta Lake Church Camp in Rome, NY before living in Rochester, NY for several years. They retired in Canton Township and spent time gardening.Joann loved the Lord and his word guided her throughout life. The Boyces attended the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church for many years and more recently they enjoyed attending the West Franklin Mennonite Church.

Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, David and Lori Papazian-Boyce of Vancouver WA; sisters-in-law Margaret McClelland of Troy, Mildred Osgood of East Troy and Audrey Porter of Montoursville; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband, Aaron, who passed away on May 17, 2010

and three siblings, Janet LaMont, Boyd McClelland and Bruce McClelland.

A time of visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20, at Pepper Funeral Home, Springbrook Dr, in Canton. The funeral service will follow at 7:00. Burial will be in Granville Center Cemetery.
