Karen Roupp, 58, The angel and beloved wife of Bernie Roupp, of Tioga, PApassed away peacefullyFriday afternoon, August 12, 2011 at Sayre's Robert Packer Hospital.



Karen Ann was born on June 7, 1953 in Blossburg, PA.She wasa daughter of the late Datus "Smitty"and Mary "Sissy" (Nybeck) Smith.

Throughout life, Karen's main interest encompassed the love she shared for her home and family. She especially enjoyed picnics and gatherings at the family's campground. She processed a wonderful personality and could make a new friend in everyone she met. Reading, shopping, swimming, dancing, writing poems andbingo were just a few of her hobbies.

On April 21, 2001, Karen married Bernard Roupp in Blossburg and togetherthey shared 10 years of loving marriage.



She was employed by Truck-Lite in Wellsboro for over 25 years until failing health no longer permitted her to continue.



Surviving is her husband, Bernie, 3sons, Chris Mooreand Ronald Moore both of Morris Run, PA andDonnie Smithers of Tioga, PA, several grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; siblings, Deborah Smith of Montoursville, PA, Cindy, Pamela, Alan and Randy Smith all of Morris Run, PA, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.



Besides her parents, Karen was predeceased by a son, Ricky Lee Moore.



Friends may call 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, August 15th,at Zwicharowski Funeral Home, 314 Granger St., Blossburg. Funeral services and celebration of her lifewill be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Bob Martin officiating. Burial willfollow in Salem-St. Paul Cemetery, Liberty, PA.
